Sakebar: Directory of global Rake taks (sakes)

Tuesday, September 25th, 2007

If you are not already using sake, you are loosing a very nice enhancement to common rake tasks.

Sake was developed by Chris Wanstrath, they are global rake tasks that once installed can be run in any rake enabled project. There are many new rake tasks from Rails Edge that are available as sakes, like db:reset, routes and a haml:transform that converts your RHTML views into beautiful HAML code.

While handy, this code snippets are difficult to locate, and that’s why we created SakeBar a directory of user submitted sake code snippets. Considering we did it in just the 48 hours of the RailsRumble its not bad, but don’t believe just please check it at:

And rate it yourself, run, voting will be closing tomorow.
